If you’re looking for a place to get connected at CrossPoint, this is a great opportunity to serve our community and get to know some other CrossPoint people at the same time!

Our pantry will be open to guests from 4:30pm-6:00pm

What should I expect?

We have three main areas where our volunteers will serve in the Food Pantry. Here’s a quick overview of what to expect:

  • Distribution Crew: You get to interact and assist our guests as you help them select food items and get the items they need.
  • Carryout Crew: does just that – carries the food out to the car for our guests. Plan to lift boxes of groceries weighing 10-15 lbs or more.
  • Clean Up Crew: Everyone helps clean up the Fellowship Hall after we’re done: stack chairs and tables, sweep the floor and breakdown/recycle boxes.

There are always other miscellaneous tasks that need to be done each month, from restocking food items to welcoming our guests. So, whether you want to work behind the scenes or get involved with the people face-to-face, we have a place for you to serve!
